Eligibility: This grant is open to all schools (public, private, and charter) and school districts who will commit to taking part in a first of its kind nationwide study on the effectiveness of the already proven I CAN Learn math program. The applicant will also commit to using the I CAN Learn math program as their full time math intervention program or as the core instructional program for targeted students (75% or> instructional time). Instructional time and type should be defined in application. Because this is a large scale scientific study, the applicant must agree to either randomly place students into the I CAN Learn program or provide matched pairs (comparable non-I CAN Learn students), which can be from a similar school/district. The grant award will cover 50% of the total three-year implementation cost of the program.
