Eligibility:
Any California public local education agency (LEA) operating one or more
comprehensive public schools is eligible to submit an application. Eligible
applicants include school districts, County Offices of Education, and
direct-funded Charter Schools. Scoring will be weighted in favor of existing
successful CPA programs that focus on clean technology and renewable energy and
that wish to continue their academy program after current SB 70 or Assembly Bill
(AB 519) funding expires on June 30,
2012. Second priority will go to schools that do not currently participate
in the partnership academies program. Third priority will go to schools that
participate in the partnership academies program, but do not currently
