Eligibility:
CRESH grants are open to individuals and organizations that provide direct service to children and families, including teachers, schools, and school district personnel; community health providers; clinicians in private practice; and others in the health, human services, and educational fields.   
CRESH grants are NOT available for university-affiliated faculty research projects.  Also, employees of CRESH and their relatives may not apply.
In order to receive a CRESH grant, projects must (a) implement a new evidence-based social-emotional health intervention within their service setting, (b) provide direct service to children and/or their families, and (c) evaluate the benefits of this new intervention. Click here for registries of evidence-based interventions

Application Materials:
All information for a grant must be uploaded online using the CRESH application.  Each application requires the information listed below.  You may want to write up these sections in word processing program and then copy them into your application.  Download a preview copy of the application here.
  • Needs analysis:  Describe why this project is needed (limit 500 words)
  • Method:  Describe the plan for your project, including the number of participants, intervention implementation procedures, and how outcomes will be evaluated (limit 1000 words)
  • Measures: List the measures you will use to evaluate your intervention (including author and publication information, if available)
  • Timeline:  Specify start and end dates and describe the time table for the various components of the project.
  • Sustainability:  Describe how the positive effects of your project will be maintained after the grant ends (limit 300 words)
